Resonant Computing: Coherence Processing Units and Non-Boolean Logic
Hadi Servat2026-02-10FRC 800
Proposes a computing architecture based on coupled oscillators rather than logic gates. Introduces the Resonant Bit (R-bit), which stores information in phase relations to a global coherence field, and the Coherence Processing Unit (CPU), which computes via deterministic phase-locking dynamics. We analyze error correction, computational complexity, and advantages over both classical and quantum computing paradigms.
